Amjad Masad is the founder and CEO of Replit, an online coding environment valued at over $1B at Series B. 

Replit’s goal is to bring the next billion software developers online. They’ve created the most user-friendly integrated development environment of all time, and they recently released an AI-powered code writing tool called Ghostwriter.    

In this episode, Amjad and I discuss what the rise of AI means for coding, developers, and tech companies. Amjad shares his thoughts on consumer vs creator computer culture, why development hasn’t moved to the cloud faster, and why everyone should be able to call themselves a programmer.
